The style we were looking at, as mentioned in previous posts, was the game Inside by Playdead.
The fog gives an added depth to the scene and uncertainty, as what is in the foreground cannot be scene clearly.
We also looked into the use of fog in the environment in the final scene of Casablanca (1942). It gives an emphasis of uncertainty

I looked online and found a Mike Hermes tutorial that would help create this look- the fog identical to what we need to create. I’m going to try and put this into our current scene, to test how it would look like.
